It has been a utterly amazing journey to be a part of the design of new Rose Hotel Venice. We have been able to place the KTC LOOM Collection throughout the rooms and Lobby, and help create the mood that is the ultimate in beach chic.

Dream Solid Flax was just the right textile for this project, a sumptuous natural Belgian linen that gets more delicious with time.

Just in case you think we are just being a bit big for out britches, the Wall Street Journal, French Vogue and Conde Nast Traveler have concurred.  Come check it out!

Centuries Ahead means these are the collectables of the future…

Iznik tiles themselves are treasures. For this rare collection of furniture  they were custom made in a scale that has never been executed before.

Iznik tile from Turkey is a tradition originating in the 12th century and is remarkable most notably for the quartz content from which the body of the tiles are made. On top of this than comes the exquisite hand painted artistry of the Iznik craftsman. Each table is designed to be an extension of the motif in the tile itself.

Each of the hand-crafted tables is made by an artisan, a master craftsman, one wood worker and one bronze caster, both California based.

Centuries Ahead was formed to create treasures  of museum quality for our time and of the future…

ROMA – and the Pantheon in Rome

 With all the splendid attention this design is getting in the “House Beautiful” April, “Made in LA” Issue, it seemed like a perfect time to share the inspiration for this design. None other than the magnificent dome and oculus on the Pantheon In Rome. Hence the name I have given it…..ROMA! Takes your breath away……
